I would vote Green rather than my usual rate payers, but it would be a wasted vote. Somebody needs to sort out active travel – fix the pavements, better cycle lanes and more LTNs. I doubt anybody living in an LTN would want it any other way. But we live in a lazy car driving borough, so the rate payers will concentrate on potholes.
It probably doesn’t matter who gets in as there’s no money anyway.
*A wasted vote*? Change would never happen if alternative political parties didn’t come on the scene. With *First-past-the-post* it is very difficult to make a break-through. HRA subsidised car-parking by £1m a year for Hornchurch and Upminster (Not Romford). That was a political choice….Do you approve? £1m spent subsidising car travel was £1m not available for your preferences.
A star is born …. Can I have yoour autograph ??
